Terms of Service

To use KHAMPOS, you must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian needs to agree to these Terms on your behalf.

When you create an account, you agree to give accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You're responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything that happens under your account. If you think your account has been compromised, contact us right away at help@khampos.com.

We may ask for extra verification (like email, phone, or identity checks) before unlocking certain features, especially anything related to payouts.

Creators are people or businesses who use KHAMPOS to build a community and offer something to it: courses, coaching, memberships, digital products, events, and more.

As a creator, you're in charge of your community: its rules, its content, its pricing, and delivering what you promise to your members. KHAMPOS gives you the tools; you're responsible for how you use them, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business (including consumer protection, tax, and data-protection laws).

Use of these tools is limited to purposes that are safe, legal, and responsible. If you breach that, we may restrict your access to the tools or your account, and we may take other appropriate action.

KHAMPOS is a 0% platform fee platform. We don't take a cut of your sales. Payment-processor fees (Stripe or Paystack) still apply, since they handle the actual movement of money, but KHAMPOS itself charges no commission.

To get paid, connect a payout method under Earnings in your dashboard. You can choose one of three options:

• Bank account, with payouts sent directly to your bank;
• Stripe, by connecting your Stripe account;
• Paystack, by connecting your Paystack account.

To be clear: KHAMPOS does not hold your money. We don't operate a wallet that sits between a sale and your bank. When a member pays, funds are routed straight to the payout method you've connected, through Stripe or Paystack's infrastructure. Payout timing, minimums, and currency support depend on the provider and your country; see their terms for specifics.

You're responsible for paying any taxes owed on your earnings. Depending on your jurisdiction, Stripe, Paystack, or KHAMPOS may be required to report or withhold taxes.

Even with a direct-to-account model, Stripe and Paystack may themselves place holds or reserves on funds under their own risk policies (such as suspected fraud or chargebacks). That's the payment provider's process, not KHAMPOS's.

Creating an KHAMPOS account is free. To create a community and start selling, you need a paid creator subscription plan. Details and current prices are on our pricing page.

Separately from that subscription, KHAMPOS charges no platform fee and takes no commission on your sales. You keep 100% of what your buyers pay you, before the payment provider's own processing fees. Our income comes from creator subscriptions, not from a share of your earnings.

The other cost to be aware of is the standard processing fee charged directly by Stripe or Paystack for handling each transaction and payout. Those are set by the provider, not by KHAMPOS, and are deducted by them before the money reaches you.

Refund policies for what you sell are entirely up to you as the creator, including a "no refunds" policy if that's what you choose. KHAMPOS doesn't require a minimum refund window and won't override your policy. We just ask that you state your policy clearly in your community rules or at the point of sale, so members know before they join or buy. KHAMPOS doesn't process or approve refunds on your behalf, except where required by law or where we choose to help facilitate one.

If a member disputes a charge or files a chargeback, you're responsible for responding to it using the tools we provide. We may assist, but we're not liable for losses or fees resulting from chargebacks.

Since KHAMPOS doesn't hold your money, issuing a refund pulls the funds back from your connected Stripe, Paystack, or bank payout method, not from an KHAMPOS balance. See our Transaction Terms for exactly how that works, including what happens if the sale has already been paid out.

You own everything you create and sell on KHAMPOS. By posting or publishing content, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it, solely so we can run and promote the platform. This doesn't give us ownership of your content, and it doesn't let us sell it as our own. You stay in control.

You're responsible for your content. It must not:

• Infringe someone else's intellectual property;
• Contain illegal, offensive, or harmful material;
• Involve sexual content involving minors, or otherwise sexualise minors;
• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Be part of a "get rich quick" scheme.

You may not use KHAMPOS to sell, promote, or solicit funds for:

• Illegal goods or services;
• Weapons, regulated drugs, or controlled substances;
• Adult sexual content or services;
• Gambling activities prohibited in your jurisdiction;
• Pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or other deceptive money-making schemes;
• Any product or service we reasonably determine is incompatible with the platform.

Placeholder: confirm your final prohibited-category list with your payment providers (Stripe/Paystack restricted-business lists) since they may require additional exclusions beyond what's listed here.

As a member, you can join a creator's community, buy their products, or subscribe to their memberships.

Once you've paid, you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that content for your own personal use, not to resell, redistribute, or use commercially.

For subscriptions, KHAMPOS helps collect payment on the creator's behalf. Creators can change prices with notice. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancelling stops future renewals but doesn't refund the current period unless the creator's policy says otherwise.

A creator can suspend or remove your access if you break their community rules or these Terms. You may also lose access if your payment fails, the creator closes their account, or we or the creator terminate an account for a Terms violation.

KHAMPOS connects members and creators; the contract for any purchase is between the two of you. If something goes wrong, contact the creator first. If they're unresponsive or the issue isn't resolved, you can reach out to us and we may step in to help, but we're not obligated to resolve disputes or issue refunds ourselves.

The KHAMPOS name, logo, design, software, and underlying technology belong to KHAMPOS or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or extract source code from the platform without our written permission.

You can delete your account anytime from your settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms or could harm other users, us, or third parties.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we'll give reasonable notice before they take effect, by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use KHAMPOS after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

KHAMPOS is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce any particular financial or business result for you.

To the fullest extent the law allows, KHAMPOS isn't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits or revenue. We're also not responsible for the actions, promises, or content of creators; creators are responsible for what they commit to their members.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
